The eMouseAtlas embryo models capture detailed knowledge of mouse embryo anatomy and provide a spatial framework for annotating and analysing gene-expression and other spatially organised data. The 3-dimensional image data has been carefully collated to provide representative embryos for each stage of development and expert developmental anatomists have checked the anatomical delineations. Each model is provided as a dataset with both the native woolz image format and the open-standard NIfTI format. The woolz image data can be viewed using the tools from the GitHub ma-tech repository and the NIfTI files can be viewed using ITK-Snap or any number of other image viewing applications. For all models with delineated anatomy we also provide 3D surface data in stereo-lithography (stl) format.
