Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) is a vibrant creative teaching, learning and research community, combining world class faculties from the disciplines of architecture, landscape architecture, art, design, history of art and music.

ECA has an international reputation as one of the most successful art colleges in Europe and our mission is to promote critical inquiry through scholarly research, learning, teaching and education in creative practice.

Research in Edinburgh College of Art spans across a wide area, covering the design and production of, as well as the critical inquiry into, art, design, culture, buildings, environments, media and music.

The Edinburgh College of Art is comprised of five main subject areas/schools:
